#### 6 Exclusion of legislation of this jurisdiction and South Australia 6 Exclusion of legislation of this jurisdiction and South Australia > > (1) The following Acts of this jurisdiction do not apply to the [Rail Safety National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-82a) or to the instruments made under that Law— > > > > > (a) the [Freedom of Information Act 1989](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1989-005), > > > > > (b) the [Government Information (Information Commissioner) Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-053), > > > > > (c) the [Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-052), > > > > > (d) the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015) (except Part 6A and the provisions applying under section 7), > > > > > (e) the [Ombudsman Act 1974](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1974-068), > > > > > (f) the [Subordinate Legislation Act 1989](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1989-146), > > > > > (g) the [State Records Act 1998](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1998-017). > > > (2) Despite section 263 (2) of the [Rail Safety National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-82a), the following Acts of South Australia apply as laws of this State for the purposes of the [Rail Safety National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-82a) or to instruments made under that Law— > > > > > (a) the Freedom of Information Act 1991, > > > > > (b) the Ombudsman Act 1972, > > > > > (c) the State Records Act 1997. > > > (3) The Acts Interpretation Act 1915, and other Acts (other than Acts referred to in subsection (2)), of South Australia do not apply to the [Rail Safety National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-82a) or the instruments made under that Law.
