Tasmania regulation
This Order removes Tasmanian Railway Pty Ltd’s designation as the Rail Infrastructure Owner for the piece of track shown as Area 2 on Plan 11581, under section 7 of the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007 (s6). It comes into effect when its Gazette notice is published (s2). Mechanically, the company no longer holds the statutory rights, duties and regulatory obligations for that portion; the Order does not name a replacement owner and is administered by the Department of State Growth.
