2.1 Devices to which this Notice applies
This Notice applies to a device: (a) that is: (i) manufactured in Australia; or (ii) imported into Australia; for supply in Australia; and (b) to which an applicable standard applies.
Note: Section 5 of the Act contains the following definition:
supply includes supply (including re‑supply) by way of sale, exchange, lease, hire or hire‑purchase.
