5 Application

(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this Notice applies to a device that: (a) is manufactured in or imported into Australia for supply; and (b) is a device to which an applicable standard applies. (2) This Notice does not apply to a device that is imported or manufactured otherwise than for supply in Australia. (3) Parts 2, 3 and 4 of this Notice do not apply to a device that: (a) is imported into Australia from New Zealand for supply; and (b) complies with New Zealand labelling legislation.
