Commonwealth legislation
This declaration fixes the minimum age for three radiocommunications certificates (Long Range Operator, Marine Satellite Communications Endorsement, and Short Range Operator) at 16, repeals the 2015 declaration, and takes effect the day after registration. It changes the legal eligibility rule used under the Radiocommunications Act 1992, so applicants and the certificate-issuing authority must treat age 16 as the threshold for those specific certificates.
