69 Banned radiation sources

For the purposes of section 19(1) of the Act, the following radiation sources are prescribed as banned radiation sources:

(a) X-ray equipment, for dento-maxillofacial radiography, that is designed for use with an intra-oral X-ray image receptor that operates at an X-ray tube voltage of less than 60 kilovolt peak;

(b) direct fluoroscopy X-ray equipment;

(c) shoe-fitting X-ray units.
