29 Application for licence to dispose of smoke detector
A person who uses a smoke detector that contains radioactive material and complies with AS 7240.7:2018 must, within 7 days of discontinuing the use of the smoke detector, apply for a licence to dispose of the smoke detector.
Penalty: Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
