60 Owning unregistered radiation source (b) the person fails to apply to register the radiation source not later than 7 days after the day the person acquires ownership. (2) A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if— (a) the person manufactures the radiation source; and (b) the person is authorised under a licence to manufacture the radiation source; and (c) the person owns the radiation source for a period of not longer than 90 days after the day the manufacture of the radiation source is completed. (3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
