46 Person in possession of prohibited radiation source liable for disposal costs A person from whom possession of a prohibited radiation source is taken by an authorised officer or anyone else under section 45 (Disposal etc of prohibited radiation source) is liable for the reasonable costs incurred by the Territory or anyone else in disposing of the prohibited radiation source. Note An amount owing under a law may be recovered as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction or the ACAT (see Legislation Act, s 177).
