95 Extension of period of time authorisation is in force
(1) Subject to this section, the Secretary may extend the period of time of an authorisation under this Part.
(2) An authorisation under this Part may only be extended before the period of time it is in force expires.
(3) The Secretary must not extend the period of time of an authorisation under this Part unless he or she believes on reasonable grounds that the radiation event to which the authorisation relates will continue to pose a serious risk to the health or safety of persons or the safety of the environment after the expiry of the period of time the authorisation is in force.
