104 Who may hold race meetings?

(1)  Race meetings may be held by –

(a) persons who are authorised to do so by a permit under section 106 ; or

(b) registered clubs; or

(c) Tasracing if authorised to do so under section 111 .

(2)  Except as provided by subsection (1) , a person must not hold a race meeting.

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
