sec.252AM Hearing in absence of parties or others
The panel may hear a panel review application in the absence of a party to the application if— the panel is satisfied the party has been given notice of the hearing under section 252AI ; and the panel is satisfied the party did not have a reasonable excuse for failing to attend. Also, the panel may hear a panel review application in the absence of any other person who has been given reasonable notice of the hearing. s 252AM ins 2022 No. 24 s 24 (sec.252AM-ssec.1) The panel may hear a panel review application in the absence of a party to the application if— the panel is satisfied the party has been given notice of the hearing under section 252AI ; and the panel is satisfied the party did not have a reasonable excuse for failing to attend. (sec.252AM-ssec.2) Also, the panel may hear a panel review application in the absence of any other person who has been given reasonable notice of the hearing.
