sec.235 Proceedings for simple offences
A proceeding for a simple offence against this Act by way of summary proceeding under the Justices Act 1886 must start within the later of the following— within 1 year after the offence is committed; within 6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge, but within 2 years after the offence is committed.
- (a) within 1 year after the offence is committed;
- (b) within 6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge, but within 2 years after the offence is committed.
