sec.139 Lawful bet by racing bookmaker is taken to be a valid contract
This section applies if a racing bookmaker at a licensed venue makes a bet with another person as part of the lawful engagement of the racing bookmaker in bookmaking. The racing bookmaker is taken to have entered into a valid contract with the other person relating to the bet and may sue or be sued on the contract.
