233Participation at hearing

233 Participation at hearing (1) The parties to a hearing have a right to participate in a hearing and to legal representation. (2) A person summoned to attend or who appears as a witness in a hearing may be represented by a legal practitioner. (3) A party who is not represented by a legal practitioner: (a) is entitled to be supported by and to consult with another person during a hearing; and (b) is not entitled to be represented by that other person. (4) A party may give evidence and make submissions in relation to a disciplinary hearing.
