### sec.34 Remuneration and conditions of appointment
The chief executive officer is employed under this Act and not under the Public Sector Act 2022 .
The chief executive officer holds office on the terms and conditions, not provided for by this Act, that are decided by the Governor in Council, including, for example, remuneration and allowances.
