### sec.35 Vacancy
The office of chief executive officer becomes vacant if the chief executive officer—
completes the term of office and is not reappointed; or
resigns by signed notice given to the Minister; or
ceases to be an eligible individual; or
is removed by the Governor in Council under subsection (2) .
The Governor in Council may remove the chief executive officer for any reason or none.

(sec.35-ssec.1) The office of chief executive officer becomes vacant if the chief executive officer— completes the term of office and is not reappointed; or resigns by signed notice given to the Minister; or ceases to be an eligible individual; or is removed by the Governor in Council under subsection (2) .
(sec.35-ssec.2) The Governor in Council may remove the chief executive officer for any reason or none.
- (a) completes the term of office and is not reappointed; or
- (b) resigns by signed notice given to the Minister; or
- (c) ceases to be an eligible individual; or
- (d) is removed by the Governor in Council under subsection (2) .
