36 Revocation of approval of AROs (1) If the commission is satisfied, following an inquiry, that an ARO no longer satisfies section 34 (1) (a) or (b), or has contravened a provision of this Act, it may revoke the organisation’s approval. (2) If the commission is satisfied that it is no longer in the public interest that an ARO be approved, it may direct the commission to revoke the organisation’s approval. (3) A direction by the commission under subsection (2)— (a) is a disallowable instrument; and (b) takes effect, unless disallowed, at the end of the period during which it is disallowable.
