5A Betting in accordance with club betting permits Despite anything in the **Gambling Regulation Act 2003** (except Divisions 5 and 6 of Part 5 of Chapter 4) or any other law, it is not a contravention of that Act or law, and a premises is not a place provided for the purposes of unauthorised gambling within the meaning of Chapter 2 of that Act, if a person bets by way of wagering— (a) at that premises and that premises is a premises specified in a club betting permit; and (b) in accordance with the conditions of the permit.
