50G Chairperson of the Victorian Racing Tribunal (1) The Chairperson must be a person who is a former or current judicial officer. (2) The Chairperson must ensure that— (a) rules of practice and procedure and practice notes for the Victorian Racing Tribunal are in place; and (b) members of the Victorian Racing Tribunal are educated about the rules of practice and procedure and practice notes. (3) Rules of practice and procedure or practice notes referred to in subsection (2) are not statutory rules or legislative instruments within the meaning of the **Subordinate Legislation Act 1994**.
