32E Direction not to enter or to leave restricted racing area or race-course (1) An authorised officer may direct a person not to enter, or to leave and not re-enter, a restricted racing area or race-course for the duration of a race-meeting or an official trial meeting if the authorised officer— (a) believes on reasonable grounds that the person is committing, or has committed, an offence against section 32A, 32B, 32C or 32D; and (b) has informed the person that the authorised officer has formed the belief referred to in paragraph (a); and (c) before giving the direction, has requested the person not to enter or to leave the restricted racing area or race‑course and that person has entered or has refused to leave. (2) A direction under subsection (1) may be given in either or both of the following ways— (a) orally; (b) in writing and served personally on the person to whom it applies. (3) An authorised officer who gives a direction to a person under subsection (1) which is an oral direction must inform the person that the direction applies for the duration of the race‑meeting or official trial meeting. (4) A direction under subsection (1) which is a written direction must specify that the direction applies for the duration of the race‑meeting or official trial meeting.
