38 Remitting or refunding quarantine charges and late payment fees
(1) The Minister may remit or refund the whole or part of a quarantine charge or a late payment fee that is payable or paid to the Commonwealth if the Minister is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances that justify doing so. (2) The Minister may do so on his or her own initiative or on written application by a person.
