#### 74E Persons to assist officers (1) A person in control of imported goods shall, if requested by a quarantine officer to do so, provide reasonable assistance to the officer in the performance of the functions, the carrying out of the duties, or the exercise of the powers, of the officer under this Act in relation to those goods. Maximum penalty: Imprisonment for 6 months. (2) A reference in subsection (1) to a person in control of imported goods shall be read as including a reference to: (a) the owner of the goods; (b) the person who imported the goods; and (c) an agent of a person referred to in paragraph (a) or (b).
