#### 74BC Power to require information after entering premises with consent or under warrant (1) Subject to subsection (2), a quarantine officer who has entered premises under subparagraph 66AB(1)(a)(iv) or paragraph 66AE(2)(b) or under a warrant under section 66AC, 66AF or 66AH may, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary for the purpose of deciding whether to exercise any power under this Act or finding out whether this Act has been complied with: (a) require a person to answer questions relating to the movement of people, vehicles or goods to or from the premises or otherwise relating to the prevention or control of the introduction, establishment or spread of a disease or pest; or (b) require a person to produce any documents relating to the movement of people, vehicles or goods to or from the premises or otherwise relating to the prevention or control of the introduction, establishment or spread of a disease or pest, and inspect any documents so produced. (2) A quarantine officer is not entitled to make a requirement of a person under subsection (1) unless the officer produces his or her identity card for inspection by the person. > Note: This section is subject to the privilege against self incrimination (see subsection 79A(3)).
