#### 66AD Seizures without offence‑related warrant in emergency situations (1) This section applies when a quarantine officer has entered premises under section 66AB or under a warrant issued under section 66AC. (2) If the quarantine officer suspects, on reasonable grounds, that: (a) particular evidential material is on the premises; and (b) it is necessary to seize the evidential material in order to prevent it from being concealed, lost or destroyed; and (c) it is necessary to do so without the authority of a warrant under section 66AF because the circumstances are serious and urgent; the quarantine officer may seize the evidential material if he or she finds it there.
