sec.7 Appointment of commissioner
There is to be a Commissioner of State Revenue. The Governor in Council must, by gazette notice, appoint an appropriately qualified person to be the commissioner. It does not matter whether the appointee is or is not already a public service officer. The commissioner is to be employed under the Public Sector Act 2022 . s 7 amd 2014 No. 35 s 82 ; 2019 No. 20 s 64 ; 2022 No. 34 s 365 sch 3 (sec.7-ssec.1) There is to be a Commissioner of State Revenue.
