sec.25 Reassessment does not replace previous assessment
A reassessment does not replace the previous assessment but merely varies it by— decreasing or increasing the taxpayer’s liability for tax; or changing the basis on which the taxpayer’s liability for tax is assessed.
- (a) decreasing or increasing the taxpayer’s liability for tax; or
- (b) changing the basis on which the taxpayer’s liability for tax is assessed.
