sec.156 Existing mediators
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement, a person held office as a mediator under section 95, as in force immediately before the commencement. On the commencement, the person— is taken to have been appointed by the commissioner under section 95; and continues to hold office on the terms and conditions that applied in relation to the person immediately before the commencement. s 156 ins 2022 No. 5 s 73 (sec.156-ssec.1) This section applies if, immediately before the commencement, a person held office as a mediator under section 95, as in force immediately before the commencement. (sec.156-ssec.2) On the commencement, the person— is taken to have been appointed by the commissioner under section 95; and continues to hold office on the terms and conditions that applied in relation to the person immediately before the commencement.
- (a) is taken to have been appointed by the commissioner under section 95; and
- (b) continues to hold office on the terms and conditions that applied in relation to the person immediately before the commencement.
