48 Membership of board (1) The board consists of— (a) the public trustee and guardian; and (b) at least 2 other members appointed by the Minister. Note For laws about appointments, see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3. (2) A member mentioned in subsection (1) (b) must be appointed for a term of not longer than 3 years. Note A person may be reappointed to a position if the person is eligible to be appointed to the position (see Legislation Act 2001, s 208 and dict , pt 1, def of appoint).
