#### 61 Regulations 61 Regulations > > (1) The Governor may make regulations about a matter that is— > > > > > (a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or > > > > > (b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act. > > > (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the regulations may provide for— > > > > > (a) matters relating to authorised officers, and > > > > > (b) the giving of notices under this Act. > > > (3) A regulation may apply, adopt or incorporate a document as in force— > > > > > (a) at a particular time, or > > > > > (b) from time to time. > > > (4) The regulations may exempt— > > > > > (a) a person or class of persons from the application of a provision of this Act or the regulations, or > > > > > (b) an item or class of items from the application of a provision of this Act or the regulations. > > > (5) The regulations may create offences punishable by a maximum penalty of 50 penalty units.
