##### 56A Interpretation In this Subdivision, unless the contrary intention appears: > Minister, in relation to an officer, means the Minister for the time being administering the Department in which: (a) in the case of an officer who is a Secretary—the officer holds office; or (b) in any other case—the officer is included by virtue of a direction under subsection 33C(2). > officer means a Secretary or unattached Secretary. > Secretary means a person holding, or performing the duties of, an office referred to in paragraph (a) of the definition of office of Secretary in subsection 7(1).
