65 Reclassification of office
(1) The head of service may, in writing, change the classification of an
office in accordance with any prescribed requirement.
(2) If the head of service changes the classification of an office to a higher
classification—
(a) the office becomes vacant; and
(b) the officer who occupied the office immediately before the
change becomes an unattached officer.
(3) However, if the head of service changes the classification of a class
of offices, the head of service may, in writing, disapply
subsection (2).
