139 Re-employment of employee if unsuccessful election
(1) This section applies to a former employee if the former employee is
an unsuccessful election candidate.
former employee may ask the head of service, in writing, to be
re-employed.
(3) After receiving a request under subsection (2), the head of service
must employ the person in the same or a similar capacity with the
same rate of pay as that payable to the person immediately before the
person’s employment ended.
