118 Secondment to the service
(1) The head of service may approve a request from an eligible person
for the secondment of the eligible person to the service.
(2) The eligible person must agree to the details of the secondment before
the secondment begins.
(3) The person on secondment must exercise a function assigned to the
person while on secondment in accordance with this Act and any
other law applying in the territory.
(4) A person on secondment is taken to be a public servant for section 7
(Meaning of public sector values), section 8 (Meaning of public
sector principles) and section 9 (Public sector conduct).
(5) In this section:
secondment, of a person to the service, means a written arrangement
between the Territory and the employer of the person, under which
the person works in the service as if the person was employed by the
Territory.
