103 Lapsing or discontinuing of appeal
(1) An appeal against a temporary transfer under section 102 lapses if—
(a) the temporary transfer finishes under section 100 (3); or
(b) the temporary transfer finishes because the person transferred
stops being an officer; or
(c) the temporary transfer is revoked under section 100 (5); or
(d) the appellant stops being an officer; or
(e) the office that is the subject of the appeal is no longer a higher
office for the appellant.
(2) An appeal against a temporary transfer under section 102 must be
discontinued if the appellant gives written notice that the appeal has
been withdrawn to the person or body that considers the appeal under
the temporary transfer appeal procedure mentioned in section 102 (2).
(3) If an appeal lapses or is discontinued under this section the person or
body that considers the appeal under the temporary transfer appeal
procedure mentioned in section 102 (2) must give written notice of
the lapse or discontinuance to the appellant.
