37Resignation

37 Resignation (1) Subject to the terms of any contract under which he or she may be employed in the Public Sector, an employee may at any time, in writing signed by him or her and delivered to his or her Chief Executive Officer, resign from employment in the Public Sector. (2) The regulations may require a period of notice to be given or acceptance by a specified person or body of the resignation of an employee included in a specified class of employees or of an employee resigning in prescribed circumstances. (3) A resignation under this section may not be withdrawn except with the approval of the Chief Executive Officer.
