#### 62 Definitions 62 Definitions > In this Division— > > contract includes any kind of agreement or arrangement. > > controlled contract means— > > > (a) a contract that relates wholly or partly to the supply of goods or services to a licensee or agent in connection with the conduct of a public lottery and that is— > > > > > (i) for the purchase or servicing, or purchase and servicing, of any device or equipment used in connection with the conduct of the public lottery or the security arrangements in relation to the conduct of the public lottery, or > > > > > (ii) for a total consideration that exceeds $100,000 per annum, or > > > > > (iii) a contract, or a contract of a class, the Minister has specified in the conditions of the licence because it involves the public interest, or > > > (b) a contract of a class that is prescribed by the regulations as a controlled contract for the purposes of this definition, > > but does not include an exempt contract. > > exempt contract means— > > > (a) a contract that relates solely to the construction or alteration of premises used or to be used by a licensee or agent in connection with the conduct of a public lottery, or > > > (b) a contract of a class that is prescribed by the regulations as exempt from the definition of controlled contract.
