#### 37 Special provision relating to appointment of statutory authorities as agents 37 Special provision relating to appointment of statutory authorities as agents > > (1) A statutory authority may be appointed as an agent of a licensee. > > > (2) A statutory authority that is appointed as an agent is, to the extent that it is not otherwise authorised to do so, authorised to do anything that is necessary or expedient to be done by the statutory authority as agent by or under the authority of this Act, the regulations, the rules or the conditions of a licence. > > > (3) In this section, statutory authority includes— > > > > > (a) a person holding or occupying a particular office or position under any Act or law, or > > > > > (b) a body, whether incorporated or unincorporated, constituted by or under any Act or law (including a State owned corporation).
