#### 27A Unclaimed prizes 27A Unclaimed prizes > > (1) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to the time within which claims for unclaimed prizes must be made. > > > (2) Unclaimed prizes in a prize fund kept by a licensee are to be paid into the Consolidated Fund as directed by the Minister with the approval of the Treasurer and after consultation with the licensee. > > > (3) After an unclaimed prize is paid into the Consolidated Fund any liability to pay the prize to the prize winner becomes a liability of the Crown and payment of the prize to the prize winner is authorised to be made from the Consolidated Fund. > > **s 27A:** Ins 2009 No 60, Sch 5.1 \[11\].
