26 Overpayments
If an amount paid to a claimant under this scheme or an earlier scheme is more than the correct amount, the excess amount is a debt due to the Commonwealth and may be recovered: (a) in a court of competent jurisdiction; or (b) by deduction of the whole or part of the excess amount from an amount that would otherwise be payable to the claimant under this scheme.
