### 75 Action to be taken by public body > > (1)  If, on completing an investigation of a disclosed matter, the public body finds that the conduct that was the subject of the investigation has occurred, the public body – > > > > > > (a) must take all reasonable steps to prevent the conduct from continuing or occurring in the future; and > > > > > > > (b) may take action to remedy any harm or loss arising from the conduct. > > > (2)  The steps to be taken may include – > > > > > > (a) the bringing of disciplinary proceedings against the person responsible for the conduct that was the subject of the investigation; and > > > > > > > (b) the referral of the matter to an appropriate authority for further consideration.
