7 Persons to whom disclosures may be made

(1)  Subject to this section, a disclosure under this Part may be made to –

(a) the Ombudsman; or

(b) [Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 68 of 2009, s. 8, Applied:01 Oct 2010] if the disclosure relates to a member, officer or employee of a public body other than the Police Service, that public body, the Integrity Commission or the Ombudsman; or

(c) [Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 68 of 2009, s. 8, Applied:01 Oct 2010] [Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 68 of 2009, s. 8, Applied:01 Oct 2010] [Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 1 of 2016, Sched. 1, Applied:08 Apr 2016] if the disclosure relates to a member, officer or employee of a public body that is a State Service Agency, that public body, the Integrity Commission or the Ombudsman; or

(d) [Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 68 of 2009, s. 8, Applied:01 Oct 2010] the Integrity Commission.

(2)  [Section 7 Subsection (2) amended by No. 68 of 2009, s. 8, Applied:01 Oct 2010] A disclosure that relates to a member of the Police Service, other than the Commissioner of Police, is to be made to the Commissioner of Police.

(3)  A disclosure that relates to the Commissioner of Police is to be made to the Ombudsman.

(a) is a member of the Legislative Council, is to be made to the President of the Legislative Council, the Ombudsman or the Integrity Commission; or

(b) is a member of the House of Assembly, is to be made to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Ombudsman or the Integrity Commission.
