#### 61 Additional obligations of public officials (1) A public official must use his or her best endeavours to assist the principal officer of an agency in the conduct of an investigation under Division 2 of Part 3. (2) A public official must use his or her best endeavours to assist the Ombudsman in the performance of the Ombudsman’s functions under this Act. (3) A public official must use his or her best endeavours to assist the IGIS in the performance of the IGIS’s functions under this Act. (4) A public official must use the public official’s best endeavours to assist any other public official to exercise a right, or perform a duty or function, under this Act.
