52 Exception—disclosures and acknowledgements by authors

Neither of the following statements made by an author of a work published, or intended for publication, in a periodical constitutes an e‑cigarette advertisement: (a) a statement made in the work to disclose the author’s conflict of interest in relation to the work; (b) a statement made in the work that does no more than acknowledge a contribution made to the author in connection with the preparation of the work.

Note: Part 2.5 prohibits e‑cigarette sponsorships.
