53A Licence holder liable for act of agent

53A Licence holder liable for act of agent

(1) If an agent of a licence holder commits an offence under this Act or the regulations, the licence holder is guilty of the offence and liable to the penalty specified for the contravention.

(2) In this section—

agent, of a licence holder, includes—

(a) an employee of the licence holder, and

(b) a person acting, or purporting to act, on behalf of the licence holder.
