#### 111 Register of mortuaries 111 Register of mortuaries > > (1) The Secretary must maintain a register of mortuaries. > > > (2) A person who operates a mortuary must give the Secretary written notice of the following— > > > > > (a) the name and location of the mortuary, > > > > > (b) the name and address of the person who operates the mortuary, > > > > > (c) the telephone number of the mortuary or of the person who operates the mortuary, > > > > > (d) the name and address of any funeral director who has access to the mortuary. > > > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. > > > (3) The notification must be accompanied by the fee, not exceeding the fee specified in Schedule 5, determined by the Secretary. > > > (4) The person who operates the mortuary must notify the Secretary of a change in the information notified to the Secretary. > > > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. > > > (5) No fee is payable for a notification under subsection (4).
