Tasmania regulation
Creates a narrow exemption: people who use a licensed “place of assembly” with the permission of the licence-holder are exempt from section 75 of the Public Health Act 1997 if they comply with the licence conditions (cl.5). The order takes effect when notified in the Gazette (cl.2) and defines key terms including “public event” (cl.3). Practically, licence-holders decide who benefits and users bear the compliance burden of following licence conditions to keep the exemption.
