Tasmania act
This Act amends the Public Health Act 1997 to change how vaping is regulated; the specific amendments are recorded as incorporated into the authorised consolidated version of that Principal Act. It starts on 1 October 2024 or on Royal Assent (whichever is later) and automatically repeals one year after commencement. Persons and businesses regulated under the Public Health Act need to consult the authorised consolidated text to see the exact new obligations and compliance dates (ss2–3, ss4–15, s16).

This Act may be cited as the Public Health Amendment (Vaping) Act 2025 .
This Act commences on 1 October 2024 or on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent, whichever is later.
In this Act, the Public Health Act 1997 is referred to as the Principal Act.
