#### 130 Disclosure of information 130 Disclosure of information > A person who discloses any information obtained in connection with the administration or execution of this Act is guilty of an offence unless the disclosure is made— > > > (a) with the consent of the person from whom the information was obtained, or > > > (b) in connection with the administration or execution of this Act or the regulations, or > > > (c) for the purposes of any legal proceedings arising out of this Act or the regulations, or of any report of any such proceedings, or > > > (d) with the approval of the Chief Health Officer, or a person authorised by the Chief Health Officer to give the approval, to a person specified in the approval and the information consists of epidemiological data specified in the approval, or > > > (e) in other prescribed circumstances, or > > > (f) with other lawful excuse. > > Maximum penalty—100 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months, or both. > > **pt 6, div 3 (ss 90–96):** Rep 2017 No 43, Sch 1 \[47\].
