114 Public health directions—notice to doctor or nurse
practitioner
(1) This section applies if the chief health officer gives a public health
direction about a person for reasons including the chief health
officer’s belief that the person has a disease or notifiable condition.
(2) The chief health officer must give written notice of the direction to
any doctor or nurse practitioner professionally attending the person at
the time of the direction.
